Young Americans is an American television drama on The WB network created by Steven Antin. The show debuted in 2000 as a summer replacement for, and spin-off from, another Columbia TriStar Television production, Dawson's Creek, in three episodes at the end of that series' third season.

The show explores themes of forbidden love, morality and social classes.

The show is set in the town of New Rawley at a prestigious boarding school, Rawley Academy. The plot focuses mainly on Will's moral dilemmas and the forbidden love of Scout and Bella. In a change from most television shows, the supporting characters, Jake and Hamilton, are explored in a secondary storyline that until the final two episodes barely involves the other characters on the show.

I'm missing some photos though. There were more episode stills for sure, but I never downloaded them all. And it's weird I don't have any promo pics of Scout even though I liked him.

Not even sure some of the photos I posted actually are from Young Americans, they could also just be from some other photoshoots, but oh well.

And Jake is actually a girl, but she pretends to be a guy to go to that school in the show since it's a school just for boys. I think that school had some classes she wanted to take that the girl's school next door didn't offer or something. Don't really remember. I just totally love Ian's and her storyline, it's so funny and kinda hot! You really need to check it out!

And Katherine Moennig (Jake) looks really boyish in general and especially cause of Young Americans, I just automatically see her as a guy most of the time. Also on The L World where she plays a lesbian, she just looks so boyish, I still kinda see her as a guy there too...I just can't help it. But she's kinda hot. Usually I don't find girls attractive who look boyish, but she's an exception. I only find her hot on The L Word though.

The girls who plays Bella looks so familiar...

That's Kate Bosworth. She played Lois Lane in Superman Returns. Still haven't seen that movie yet though. I haven't seen her in anything else besides Young Americans in general.

Oh yeah, I totally have to agree with you on that! When I saw some photos of her a while back she looked really skinny indeed! And that was already a few years ago, I think, I don't even wanna know how skinny she is now!

Well, I don't find her that sexy on those photos either. I don't think she's that photogenic anyways, but I love her looks in motion, especially on The L Word. Not always, just mostly when she's all dressed up at a bar. Then she's really sexy!

Exactly! She's one of those actresses who don't look like much in pictures, but when you see her on film/TV she's sensational.

I didn't know Leisha was supposed to play Shane. But I totally agree with you, I love Leisha, but I totally can't picture her as Shane either! Kate is just perfect for the role!
