| I think we need a favourite TV shows topic so we can all compare what we are watching at the moment.
My favourite shows that are still on the air (or coming back for a new season (at least as far as I know)).
Supernatural Lost The Vampire Diaries Being Human Merlin Smallville (though it isn't the same without Lex)
Goodness, my list of shows has dwindled. Stopped watching Heroes last series, Stargate Universe bored me too much to tune in to that again, and all my other shows seem to have been axed.
True Blood may make it onto my list of shows, but the first series did not impress me that much and I may forget to tune in when it comes back.

| Realised that I had forgotten one of my current shows - though it is not on at the moment.
Doctor Who.
Though I am really going to miss David Tennant in the role. He is the best Doctor so far and the new one has a hard act to follow.

| Merlin is a great show, but I wish that the UK would do long seasons for shows like the US. They are over so quickly. | |

| My list of currently airing is quite smaller... Just The Big Bang Theory, Caprica and Supernatural (and I'm getting tired of stupid "funny" episodes... No more jokes, let's get serious right now!). I'm also watching Legend of the Seeker (although I'm not especially enjoying it) and Heroes (I'm hating it... It's an empty shows without any direction to move towards, if you ask me), but it's more like a habit than anything else. As for the non-airing shows... Battlestar Galactica is in the very top, and I could add a huge list here, but nothing really so important to me. Dr. Who is a great show, but I don't have the chance to watch it regularly. I guess I'll download the first seasons as soon as I find them and then I'll start from scratch with it. And I liked what I've seen from Merlin. It won't ever be my favorite show, but it's entertaining at least. | |

| The lack of direction in the last series was partly why I stopped watching Heroes.
The first series has a real focus: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World, but since that series it has seemed to go steadily downhill.
I like funny episodes of shows, but I can see how it might be annoying in one like Supernatural if that is all they are showing. It won't make me stop watching it though.

| I'm still watching it, and some of the episodes were hilarious. But you can't turn a show like Supernatural in a sit-com and hope to keep it alive for more than a couple of episodes... And they definitely seem to have though about that chance (in fact, in the most funny episode of the show ever, the credits are like taken from a sit-com...) They seem to have got a little more serious in the last episode, though.
About Heroes... I can't agree more. The first season was just amazing, but since then, they seem to have fallen in the same mistakes over and over again... Find a bigger enemy each time, keep some characters/actors/actresses without any real sense, over-using loved characters in the same fashion until getting them totally wasted... And the thing doesn't even look better in this last season... In fact, I'm sick and tired of the stupid carnival!!!!

| Couldn't agree more, sick of the carnival, of Claire, Peter, Hiro and company, specially cause season 1 was pretty promising... | |

| I watch a bunch of shows at the moment, but I think my favourites are these:
Castle Better Off Ted Lost Modern Family 30 Rock Community Parks and Recreation Archer Supernatural Caprica Big Love
I sympathise with how you get into the habit of watching a show automatically. I was like that with the 3rd and 4th season of Lost. During every episode I would be saying that's the last episode I watch of this rubbish and I'd end up watching it again the next week to find out what happened even though everything about it was irritating and dumb! I didn't end up watching season 5 at all until a few months ago when I'd been reading about how mental it was and thought I'd check it out. It turned out to be my favourite Lost season of all. I hope season 6 is as good.

| My favortites definitely are: Dexter Heroes Monk Lost Nip/Tuck The Vampire Diaries Dollhouse And I couldn't agree any less with you guys about Heroes. For me it's the best season ever, not just because of Robert, but in general. And I just love all the seasons of Lost. You should definitely check out the Season 6 premiere, Fifi, it was awesome!!! | |

| Yep, I wasn't sure about bits of it, but I'm really getting into it now. The only thing about Lost this season is that it's even more confusing than the others! | |

| @ Fiona That's good! Can't wait to watch the ep from last night later! I just love those "flashes" from the parallel world! It was good seeing Locke and Boone in a scene again together, haha! And I can't wait to see how Locke's storyline continues in that world! And yeah, it is even more confusing this season, but I just love that! @ Eve Oooh, I was only thinking of shows from this season. If it's in general, then I have a much longer list. And I'm shocked you didn't put The L Word. Dexter Heroes Monk Lost Nip/Tuck The Vampire Diaries Dollhouse Smallville Desperate Housewives Buffy Angel Queer as Folk Dark Angel The 4400 Kyle XY Tru Calling Odyssey 5 Six Feet Under Prison Break (just cause of T-Bag!!) Looks like I'm the biggest tv show freak then. | |
