| I don't know, maybe cause we don't have cheerleaders here and i find so interesting how a hyerarquy can be built around them in high schools or colleges... I find it funny and curious! That's why I love BIO movies.... When I was a kid I was in love with a movie about Laker Girls, it was so hard being a cheerleader!! I think the only cheerleader I don't like is Heroes' one!! | |

| High school and college cheerleaders don't dress quite like the ones for pro teams though. I only know of 2 pro cheerleaders that have gone on to be successful actresses. I wonder if there has been more, and I just didn't hear about it? | |

| Charisma Carpenter was with the San Diego Chargers. You should have known that Sarah Shahi was with the Dallas Cowboys. | |

| Sarah Shahi is a half Iranian half Spanish actress. She's a decedent of a former Shah of Iran. She's not that big of a name. She stared in the short lived TV show "Life" and "Teachers" and had roles on "Alias" and "Sopranos" and the "L -Word". | |

| Wow! That's bright! lol Thanks for the link, Kev!!! Love the short I am in love with the Ucla cheerleader outfit (with most of college outfits actually) but maybe if i don't find one i would go for something like the one you showed me Just a question. Is that exagerated the hierarchy on high school as it's showed in movies or tv shows? | |

| I'm not certain what you mean. High schools are cliquish. There are loners and various groups in many schools. In schools where the athletes are tops for the boys, the girls have cheer-leading as a way to be popular and part of the In Crowd. But I don't know how much it is a hierarchy. High school was a long time back for me. As in I sorta left high school in 1981. So I can't remember from personal experience. But by the same token, cheer-leading was not the sport when I was in school that you saw in the BIO movies. That athletic part of it came later. In those movies it could be counted as a sport. Back when I was in school it was just an activity. | |

| It's probably true some places. Sports are really big in some schools. And these stereotypes tend to have at least some basis in reality. But I don't remember it myself, and it's been a long time since I had anything to do with a high school. | |

| With cheerleaders on pro teams, as opposed to schools, the further you get from the NFL the less clothes they wear. I just remembered, Paula Abdul was a Laker Girl at one time. | |

| NBA, yes. But there are other football leagues like Arena Football. And the cheerleaders get more and more like strippers instead of dancers | |
