Beverly Hills, 90210' beach apartment for sale

The beach apartment building used for exterior shots on the original "Beverly Hills, 90210" is for sale.

The Hermosa Beach, Ca., apartment/house is listed at $10,500,000, according to Vintage Properties. It features three units including an owners unit on the ground floor that contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and direct access to the back yard. The property is located on The Strand of Hermosa Beach, along the Pacific Ocean. It is within walking distance to downtown Manhattan Beach, Ca., as well.

As a fan of "Beverly Hills, 90210," I (the 90210 Examiner) visited the location several years ago (see photo, left), after finding Movie/TV locations online. It was used for exterior shots on the 1990s Fox series, when Kelly Taylor, Donna Martin, and David Silver (and later, other roommates) headed off to college and moved by the beach.

That's cool! I hardly remember the house though, cause I've hardly seen any of the later episodes, but I'm working on it. Still waiting for more seasons to come out on DVD here, it's going extremely slow...

But anyway, that house looks beautiful indeed!

Before today's "90210," there was "Beverly Hills, 90210," the wildly popular television series that ran from 1990 to 2000. The cult hit followed the trials and tribulations of a group of well to do friends who attended the fictitious West Beverly High School. During the fourth season, as the pampered teens prepared to begin college, Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) moved into an oceanfront apartment with her on again off again boyfriend David Silver (Brian Austin Green) and her bff Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth).

The property used for the exterior shots of Donna, David and Kelly's apartment building is located in the quintessential California beachfront community of Hermosa Beach and recently came up for sale with a very "Beverly Hills, 90210" asking price of $10.5 million.

The original series may have ended more than 10 years ago, but as anyone who has ever been to Hermosa Beach knows, this house still draws hordes of camera wielding tourists who, like most teens, tweens and twenty years olds in the 1990s, watched the program with an almost religious-like fervor.

Because oceanfront property is at an uber-premium, most southern California beach towns line houses up along the beach like matches in a matchbook. Hermosa Beach is no different and many of the oceanfront homes offer little in the way of privacy due to all the walkers, bikers and roller skaters who often fill the sidewalk that runs along the back of the property.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" beach house property has 136-feet of beach frontage –78 feet on the west and 58 feet on the north. Located on the coveted Strand, the property is not only right on the sand, it's also walking distance to the beachy shops and eateries of Manhattan Beach, California.

The building has three units including an owners unit on the ground floor that contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and direct access to the back yard. The second floor apartment or guest suite has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms while the third floor, the one that offers the best views and the most privacy, has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Each of the three units has ocean views and access to several private terraces that wrap the ocean side of the building and provide panoramic views out over the water to the west and the long wide stretch of beach to the north.

The glassy, modernist house of clutzy Cameron Frye in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, located in the upscale Chicago suburb of Lake Forest, IL, is on the block with an asking price of $1.8 million.

The very contemporary Cullen home, where current teenage heart throb Robert Pattison's blood sucking character Edward lived in the vampire drama Twilight: New Moon, is also on the market. The 5,100-square-foot house West Vancouver, British Columbia has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and is listed with an asking price of $3.298 million.

I used to love Dylan in the begginging. But when they started university I stopped to watch it .

Haha, I was always a huge fan of Dylan! But I've always liked David too and now that I'm re-watching it, David is definitely my fav and also by far the cutest and hottest in my opinion. Brian Austin Green has become so damn sexy!!

Gotta check out that Cullen house now...no idea what it looks like since I've never seen Twilight, but I've been checking some expensive West Vancouver houses lately and I'm just totally into those.

Even when we were rewatching the show last year i was like oh, my, why people was so crazy about Dylan!!??

He is this kind of bad guy but sweet at heart, like Sawyer from Lost, that a lot of people uses to like XDDD.

I know, we use to love bad guys, but was like so old!! lol
