Bad news those

Hi Juan. Well it's not that much of a problem. On a slow board I just hate for that box to load.

On another note, this scheme is fairly hard to read. Is there another forum skin available?

I was looking for another skin myself actually. It isn't so bad on the main board, but it is a bit of problem with the black on black in the settings.

I have found that zooming in three times (Firefox settings) makes it a lot easier to read.

That may work. I think the problem is that so much is black that it's a little hard to separate the content from the background. That and it's a little hard to see where one post stops and the next one starts.

I'm finding it pretty unconfortable myself too, but we'll try to look for a more adecuated layout or a convenient solution asap

Another question, I tried several times to get it to stop sending me emails every time a thread is replied to. It doesn't seem to work to check the No in the profile. Has anyone else tried that?

Make sure when you post anywhere the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box is unchecked, below the message box. That might be the problem.

You will also need to go to your profile and click the tab on the far right to remove the notifications from those that are already coming to you.

I did what Louisa suggested already. I didn't see what Juan suggested, and have to look for it now. Ok, that check box to notify me is not checked, and I didn't have to uncheck it.

Change that, I thought I had done what Louisa suggested, but when I went to check I couldn't find the page she suggested.


edit, found it. It was to the left and below, not on the right. And the cause of that is that I have fonts set differently from what most people do. So I was looking in the wrong place.

Click on profile at the top of the page and then click the option for "Topic being watched". There should a list of threads that you were subscribed to before you altered your settings.

Sorry, I edited my last post before seeing your reply. You were right about the tab, but the heading for the tab was on a different place on my screen, so I overlooked it at first. I have an odd custom resolution and fonts on Firefox on my system, so that makes many web pages display for me differently from most people.

That's okay. As long as you found it now. Did that work?
